I thought I
would give you a Tyler Davis baseball update. We finished District
tournaments last week and placed 3rd which qualified us to go to State.
Tyler batted .800 for the series. You would not believe how he was
smacking the ball. Doubles consistently, one triple and a couple of
singles. We were loving it. I think he had 5 or 6 RBI's in three games.
He's batting the #3 spot for the All-Star team and every time he gets up
to bat he's making something happen. He's quick to let everyone know he
takes hitting lessons from Coach Kevin Burrell at The Dugout Club. (I
thought you would appreciate that commercial.) One game we played a team
from Buckhead that had unbelievable pitchers. Tyler was the only one on
his team to get a hit and he got a double and a triple. Of course we got
killed that game, but he was a hero for our team. He plays catcher like
you would not believe and loves that position. We have had coaches calling
our house all week wanting Tyler to come play on their team next year.
That's been interesting. Anyway, we are
playing in Powder Springs this week and we won our first game last night.
Tyler was 3 for 3 with 1 RBI. Once this tournament is finished next week,
Tyler is going to play in another tournament with a team that picked him
up for the tournament and then he wants to come back for more lessons. He
wants to take some catching lessons from you in addition to the hitting.
His throws to 2nd and 3rd are incredibly accurate and he threw out more
runners stealing bases in our league this year than any other
catchers. Needless to
say, we fully support the Dugout Club and what Tyler has learned there. He
loved the baseball camp there and can't wait to get back. Just thought I'd
be a proud mom and share his summer of baseball.

"I have 2 sons ages 9 and 15. The skilled and friendly staff at the Dugout Club has helped my boys begin to effectively define their baseball skills. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. My sons look forward to the time they spend at the Dugout Club and come away better ball players each time - both mentally and physically!"
Velda Graydon Work at Home Mom "As a baseball coach, sometimes, it is difficult to admit that your own son needs more help then you can give. I have a 9 year old son who has been hitting and throwing since he could walk. I personally have coached girls fast pitch softball for 11 years. I achieved great success have taken 4 teams to national tournaments and finished as high as 5th in the nation. However, I realized that my son needed more help to learn the finer points of the game and to continue to have his love of the game grow. The Dugout Club has proven to be a great place for a 9 year old to learn the game. All of the instructors have taken the time to help improve my son's game. They have also taken the time to train me to help my son become a better ballplayer. What I like is the fact that by using technology, they are explaining to my son what is the right way and how to analyze himself in this great game. He is hitting the ball harder and throwing the ball more accurately! If you are reading this you are considering whether or not to take your ballplayer to the Dugout Club, you are looking at the cost and wondering "hey this much for a game!" But, look at it this way, if your player wanted to learn to play the piano, you would seek out the best teacher and spend whatever for them to learn to play. Your child's love is playing ball! So why not get them the best instruction to make them the best ballplayer possible.
In conclusion, I strongly recommend the Dugout Club. Come see the latest in technology make your ballplayer a better ballplayer. Chuck Hudak
